Just some film musings of a more succinct, spontaneous and sometimes seditious nature:

We’re back to Mutiny on the Bounty (1962) concerning a recent video review I saw on the internet. The reviewer attributed the same type of mostly irrelevant, typical hand-me-down, film “criticisms” I denounced in my written review (which can be read here). These type of fallacious complaints concern what was rumoured to have happened behind the scenes, wrongly blaming most of the production problems on its star Marlon Brando, the film’s dramatic steerage from historical facts, and by unsubstantiated inference, its perceived artistic failures. They masquerade as some type of worthwhile evaluation, having been ineffectively tied to the finished work, and are therefore considered by this critic as more or less meritless. In any event, I have included this Trailer from Hell (or what I would call “Film Critique from Hell”) so that readers can judge for themselves.

All responses are not only welcomed but encouraged in the comments section below.

Hope to see you Monday, August 7th.
