Dish of the Day
Just some film musings of a more succinct, spontaneous and sometimes seditious nature:
Monday, April 22, 2024
Already posted to the CC site is the second and remaining half of this month’s >>> “Now Listen to Me…” <<< column containing another 11 recommended movies to watch on TCM (bringing the total to 23), a Happy Birthday shout-out to Elaine May (who turns 92), along with this month’s Soundtrack (1995’s Species) and 4K UHD (1979’s Apocalypse Now [The Theatrical Cut]) recommendations.
Today on TCM:
My enthusiasm for the next film may be “icier” than say Howard Hughes’, however, viewers may find enough intrigue, suspense and supportive factors to make the journey to Ice Station Zebra (1968), previously reviewed here and commencing at TCM Monday, April 22 at 10:45 am PDT, worth their while.
TCM's current monthly schedule can be confirmed by clicking on either of the above images. For those who live in parts of the U.S. other than the western region, the time zone can be adjusted in the upper right-hand corner of TCM's programme.
All responses are not only welcomed but encouraged in the comments section below.
Hope to see you tomorrow.
