Today on TCM:


Ikiru
(1952) is cinema's most deeply contemplative statement on the meaning of life and one of the Top Ten World Cinema Treasures. This odyssey of discovery is taken by actor Takashi Shimura vividly playing a Japanese Government bureaucrat after learning he has terminal cancer. Ikiru will be shown on Monday, June 12 at (early morning) 2:15 am PDT.
